Motley Crue Announce Retirement Tour With Alice Cooper, Hearse And Tombstones

The rockers reveal their last tour ever.

Mötley Crüe have officially announced "The Final Tour," his last set of shows on tour for 72 dates across the U.S. and Canada. The band came to the press conference for his big announcement in a hearse and sat on the tombstones reading each of their names, and broke the news of their last big blow-out.

Californians metalheads, Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and Mick Mars, said they wanted to "go to the top", and some "dignity", according to Sky News. To prove that the news of the retirement is not just a temporary measure or a publicity stunt, the band showed a 'Cease Touring' agreement that they had all signed and will prevent more tours unless all four members want.

Clearly, the signature does not mean cessation will be more action than ever Mötley Crüe, as a reporter noted to the band. "You in the press, remains in search of the lake", bassist Nikki Sixx laughed. "We will stick to our word." When asked about the prospects of a new album, Sixx added cryptically, "You only have to see" through last Classic Rock.

The North American leg of the tour runs from July to November this year and is not yet known when the Crüe will go ahead in the world. To their U.S. tour at least theatrical rockers will be joined by the king of shock rock Alice Cooper, who also attended the press conference of retirement.

The star of 'Schools Out' spoke highly of his glam rock compadres "real hard rock bands are hard to find these days," he said in a written statement. "Mötley has always been on stage with oneattitude, and that is to blow the audience away. That's exactly how we do it. Putting Mötley Crüe and Alice Cooper together is going to be what you really need this summer."
