Alice Cooper Inducted InTo The Ultimate Classic Rock Hall Of Fame

Alice Cooper was faced with some of rock heavyweights in this month voted 100 percent fan Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame, but were no match for the godfather of shock rock.

Cooper Band faced in the final round, and although it was not a landslide, which was more than 50 percent of the vote, capping a win streak that included a narrow victory over Bob Seger and an impressive background Whooping Neil Young.

Induction Cooper is just the latest honor in a pioneering 50-year career. Their first releases helped lay the foundations for sound and image of countless acts of heavy metals continue. Also sold in impressive numbers - after 26 studio LPs and counting, who has scored six pitches that have been certified platinum or better, accumulating more than 50 million units, and a pair of Grammy nominations in the way. (Could support also mention that it has been enshrined in that other Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.)

And between trips to the golf course, Cooper still going strong: a Mötley Crüe was joined on the way to the farewell tour of the band, and is still putting the finishing her long touches in-the-works, full of Star covers album.

Just as impressive? Cooper's dedication to his many charitable efforts, including Phoenix thrift store opened in 2014 to help finance their Rock Teen Center and Program annual benefit Christmas Pudding staged to benefit his Solid Rock Foundation .

For all these reasons and many more, we are proud to welcome Alice Cooper in the last Classic Rock Hall of Fame. At one point we said "I am your superior first cut of meat / I'm your choice / wanna be elected," and now he has gotten his wish. Congratulations, Alicia!

By the way, there is no Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame in March but will be back in April.
